Veronica Francis: Digital Marketing & Communications Consultant

Preserving Stories, Memories & Community History

Stories connect generations, preserve traditions, and help communities remember who they are. Through video, interviews, podcasts, websites, digital archives, and storytelling projects, I help organizations, communities, nonprofits, and local history initiatives capture important stories before they are lost.

For more than 20 years, I have worked in digital media, marketing, publishing, and community storytelling - combining technology and creativity to turn memories into lasting digital resources that can be shared for years to come.

Today, modern tools including video production, podcasting, AI-assisted transcription, digital archiving, website publishing, and social media distribution make it easier than ever to preserve stories and make them accessible to future generations. My role is helping organizations and communities organize, capture, produce, and publish those stories in meaningful ways.

Why Story Preservation Matters

Communities change. Traditions evolve. Organizations grow. People pass on.
Without intentional preservation efforts, valuable stories, memories, and local history can disappear. Digital storytelling provides an opportunity to capture voices, experiences, traditions, and community identity in ways that can educate, inspire, and connect future generations.

I believe storytelling is one of the most powerful tools communities have, and preserving those stories today creates meaningful connections tomorrow.
