In every town, there are stories waiting to be shared - moments that are funny, surprising, meaningful, and often more relatable than we expect. Stories That Connect is an engaging, interactive workshop that brings people together through the power of storytelling.
Led by storyteller and facilitator Veronica Francis, the program begins with a few short, real-life stories drawn from her experiences growing up and working in the White Mountains. These stories highlight how small, everyday interactions can reveal deeper connections between people.
Participants are then guided through a series of simple, welcoming prompts designed to help them reflect on their own experiences. In a relaxed, low-pressure setting, attendees will have the opportunity to share stories in small groups or pairs - discovering common ground and new perspectives along the way. This program is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all, whether participants choose to share or simply listen. Especially in times when communities can feel divided, storytelling offers a gentle and meaningful way to reconnect.
Drawing from her upbringing in a family-run amusement park, her work with small businesses, and her current focus on AI and technology literacy, Veronica brings a refreshing, human perspective to innovation and leadership.
