Stories are at the heart of everything I do. I grew up in Twin Mountain, New Hampshire, where the line between ordinary life and extraordinary adventure was wonderfully blurry. Whether it was moose wandering through our driveway, tourists asking for towels, circus performers living in our backyard, or Route 3 buses rolling by like a daily parade - I learned early that life gives you stories if you're paying attention.
Each of these presentations celebrate the people, places, animals, and unpredictable moments that shaped me - and continue to shape the programs I bring to audiences today.
Route 3 RonnieRoute 3 was my childhood backdrop - busy, iconic, and full of characters. From watching tour buses roll past our motel every fall to answering questions from lost travelers, my life felt like a roadside theater. These stories capture the humor, heart, and lovable chaos of living on a North Country highway where something unexpected was always around the corner.
In the 1970s, my family built a circus-themed amusement park next door to our motel, complete with performers, animal acts, and a full traditional circus company from Florida performing daily. From helping backstage to befriending acrobats, clowns, and even a monkey or two, these memories shaped my imagination and my sense of humor. These stories later inspired my book Circus Towne, and they continue to bring joy to audiences of all ages.
Littleton, NH - my hometown now - proudly celebrates the legacy of Pollyanna author Eleanor Porter. I've spent years crafting programs and community projects that embrace her message of optimism. These stories explore the small sparks of joy, kindness, and connection that make life brighter, even when the world feels unpredictable or overwhelming.

The White Mountains are full of character, and characters. All through Veronica's presentations, you'll find stories that reflect the spirit of small-town life, local legends, nature surprises, beloved landmarks like the Old Man of the Mountain, and the everyday magic that comes from growing up in a place where community is part of the landscape.
I share these stories in keynotes, programs, and workshops not just to entertain (though they certainly do!), but to help people:
Stories are powerful - they connect us, teach us, and remind us how much humor and heart we all carry.
