Too Many Modems
I hear from people every day who are still stuck using dial-up Internet Access, the web is just not built for dial-up anymore and the lack of broadband is holding back our economy. I've been working on this issue since 1999 and will continue to advocate for more access to reliable, affordable broadband.
Bring on the Broadband
High-Speed Internet service to rural areas is not going to come from the private market, it just doesn't make business sense to invest in areas where the population is so low. The Northern Community Investment Corp (NCIC) is leading a projected supported by local leaders and NH/VT Senators to help raise money to build the infrastructure needed to serve the last mile in Northern New Hampshire and Vermont.
